Champion of Change – Mitchelene Francis BigMan
President and Founder, Native American Women Warriors Organization Mitchelene BigMan is the President and Founder of Native American Women Warriors Organization (NAWW), the first ever recognized all Native American Women Color Guard. The purpose of NAWW is to bring recognition to all women veterans, especially those of Native American descent, and their contribution to the military. Mitchelene was awarded the Society of American Indian Government Employees (SAIGE) for her efforts in being a voice for Native American Women Veterans.
So proud of my Native American Women Warriors (NAWW) sisters who had the opportunity to partake in the Inaugural “Parade Across America” virtual parade. Such an honor to be apart of an historical moment as we all witnessed the 1st Woman to take the seat as Vice President! Women Continue Breaking Glass Ceiling’s!!!
